Hello world:
As I grow old I spend more time reading. And I have this growing desire to share interesting reads that I come across with a small set of people who I believe might enjoy what I read just as much as I did.
I have been emailing these links to people from time to time. The trouble with that approach I apprehend is that emails are intrusive. Further, they land at a time when people may not be in a position to read the story. They might then save it with the hope that will read it some day. And when that day dawns the link cannot be found.
I am a victim of such well-meaning procrastination. While nearly everyone I know in this world is well organized, definitely better organized than I am, I suspect some time or the other each one of them could be victims of such amnesia too.
This blog is meant to keep all those links in one place. If and when the list grows, I will reorganize it along some sensible lines to permit easier access. For now it is just going to be one long list.
All that you have to do is to subscribe to my blog. Or not even that if only you have some means to find the blog. Once you get there all the links I have saved will be there.
Many of you are on my Linked In network. But I do not wish to post these links there, lest some people in my network of some 900 people should find the LI notifications pesky. Further, some of the articles I post might push ideologies that people on my network may not find agreeable.
At the end of the day the truth is that we are inundated with more than we can read, and far more than we can assimilate or apply. And I do not want the reading that captivates me to add to the floatsam that washes across to your corner of the coasts of cyberland.
I hope you will find some of these readings at least interesting. Happy reading in that case...
